Ground plate and treaded rods The core element of the Spinnanker is the patented, non-corrosive cast iron ground plate. There are two designs of construction for permanent and temporary use. Depending on the type the ground plate diameter varies between 270 and 370 mm. Six (Spinnanker VI) or 12 treaded rods (Spinnanker XII) are screwed in via the ground plate. The positions of the bars are, with 30° and 45° against the vertical line, specified. The number of treaded rods and the lengths of the bars depend on the soil condition. Standard length of the bars is 2, 3 or 4 meters, in special cases treaded rods up to 12 meters (e.g. slope stabilisation) can be screwed in. The high-strength treaded rod is 15 mm in diameter and is made out of 900/1100 steel quality. Mounting plate The levelling of the system is done with the mounting plate. Fixing the mounting plate with the ground plate is done with M16 counter-sunk screws. Based on this the further construction can be built. Alternatively a lock plate for clamp-on systems can be used. With this system several different construction adapters can be used. In this case the permanent fixing is done with M16 hex-head screws directly to the ground plate. Construction possibilities Basically every connector is possible; there is little limitation for custom made connectors. The design can be done with a U-fixing, a flange plate with connecting link or shackle or a dam needle connector.
