Structural steel contains more than 90% recycle content use very little water in its manufacturing process, and is actively reducing its environmental footprint by greatly reducing carbon emissions and energy use. Sustainable steel is reusable, recoverable, durable, small in footprint, and locally fabricated, manufactured and constructed. Its cradle-to-cradle "multicycling" process amortizes embodied energy and natural resources continuously into the future while producing a new material of equal or greater use than the material which was recycled.
